NORTH SEA TRANSPORT (4’33) is a short film inspired by the Dutch artist Wim. T. Schippers, a hommage to Erik Satie (Vexations) and John Cage (4’33 composed silence), a film that connects the North Sea with the landlocked country Moldova, or, more precise: the North Sea at the Southern beach at Scheveningen with the city of Chisinau, MD. The film was made during my stay in Moldova as artist-in-residence on behalf of the Dutch organisation Satellietgroep.
